Over MLK weekend, I went to SnowJam in Mont Tremblant, Quebec with some of my best friends, and had the most amazing time at this cute little town. We spent all day skiing— or rather all afternoon— depending on what time we rolled out of bed.

If you’re like me, you have probably been dreaming of hitting the slopes wearing something from the gorgeous Chloé ski capsule collection Net-a-Porter launched earlier this season. Sadly, as my budget barely allows me to splurge on a hundred-dollar sweater, much less a thousand dollar, that will remain a fantasy— thanks, college. Still, I was able to come up with some equally functional and fabulous outfits for my weekend away.

One of my first stops when I’m shopping is always Aritzia. They have great, simple pieces that are perfect for all occasions. The fur vest that I’m wearing in this particular outfit is one of my favorite pieces that I bought this past fall— perfect for braving the Canadian cold while still looking put together.  The jeans that I wore were also from Aritzia and are made by The Castings- so comfy!

Since sweaters are a must for skiing, or just enduring cold weather, my favorite place this season is Club Monaco. Their sweaters are always well-made and will keep you warm for hours on end— a major plus for sure. Another bonus for the one I’m wearing here? It was on sale—yay!

Accessorizing for cold weather is one of my favorite parts of putting on a good outfit. For this look, I chose to wear a black beanie that has a cute little furry puffball on the top. As you can see, my winter style essentially follows the mantra, “the furrier, the better!” I loved this piece because it pulled together the colors of my vest with the rest of the outfit. I also chose to wear a cute pair of sunnies because first of all, they’re so cute and second of all, you’ve got to protect your eyeballs. The sunglasses I chose are Dior So Real. My secret for scoring this great pair at a decent price? theRealReal.com (literally the best place to find designer brands for a reasonable price.)
