Apple had announced its collaboration with the luxury fashion brand, Hermès in September of last year in to introduce Apple Watch Hermès as a luxury item. The watch was available to purchase in-store in October, but only in select locations such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami. Since then, the watch has been made available for purchase online beginning January 22, 2015 as Fashionista.com reported earlier this month. The watch is now available on both Apple and Hermès official websites.
The collection has three styles, “Single Tour,” “Double Tour” and “Cuff.” The “Single Tour” watch is inspired by the classic Hermès design. It is “available in 38 mm and 42mm stainless steel cases with Hermès leather bands,” which are handmade by Hermès artisans in France. It is available in three colors, Fauve, Noir and Capucine. It is available online starting at $1,100.
The “Double Tour” has an extra long band that wraps around the wrist twice. It is “available in a 38mm stainless steel case with Hermès leather bands.” It comes in four colors, Fauve, Etain, Capucine and Bleu Jean. It is available online starting at $1,250.
The “Cuff’” is the most expensive of all three watches, starting at $1,500. It is inspired by Hermès’ “equestrian fixtures in its signature leather bands.” It is “available in a 42 mm stainless steel case” and allows the “heart rate sensor to stay in contact with the wrist.” It is available in only one color, Fauve. All Apple Watch Hermès come with a sapphire crystal– retina display, ceramic back, leather band and stainless steel buckle.
