Links We Love: Week of Nov. 9, 2015

By: Nathan Hewes

If you have ever run into the problem of having a full closet and feel like you have nothing to wear, you are by no means alone. For those of us who may be in a need of a little inspiration to reinvigorate our wardrobe, there is hope for us. The 21st century has, amongst other things, has provided us with a treasure trove of grandiose fashion and lifestyle blogs and websites.  A few of our favorites for this week are listed below:

He Spoke Style

Starting off, He Spoke Style is a guide to all things menswear and living like the gentlemen you are — or hope to become. Check out this blog if you haven’t yet figured out your fall style game, as the site will address many of your questions. You will also find plenty of answered questions that you haven’t even thought of asking—but will find intriguing nonetheless.  In addition, the Style Guide section provides a vast array of ideas that can easily be filtered by season and different articles of clothing.

The Journal at MR PORTER

The menswear arm of online retailer NET-A-PORTER regularly publishes articles in it’s respective journal.  If you’re looking for an education in high-end, high quality menswear, then this is a fantastic place to start. Though be warned, almost everything you see on this site is also available for sale and linked to the online store right from the journal articles. Peruse at your own risk.

Design Notes

If your interest in style extends beyond having an A+ wardrobe, then by all means go and discover this blog covering all things architecture and design, mid-century to contemporary.  Design Notes posts articles on many topics. These topics include architect features, advice for creating cohesive interiors and coverage of design events.
