H&M is every college student’s dream. Trendy clothes with a reasonable price tag? Yes please. But, the store’s newest collection has some people (rightfully) confused. In the past, the company has partnered with many designers and celebrities that ranged from Versace and Alexander Wang to Madonna and Beyoncé, however this time H&M is collaborating with someone (or something) a little bit different.
“H&M Loves Coachella” is the newest collaboration featuring the California music festival every twenty-something is surely familiar with. The festival, which is notorious for its indie artists and enough flower crowns to plant a garden, sold out in record timing this year, which means the clothing to match most likely will too. The collection, which is an offshoot of the “H&M Loves Music” campaign, will feature boho pieces inspired by the festival and the prices will range from $4.95 to $49.95.
Although pictures from the collection itself have yet to surface, you can be sure it’ll include plenty of denim cutoffs, fringe and crochet detailing and crop tops for as far as the eye can see.
This collection may have come as a shock to those who were expecting another amazing designer collaboration from H&M, however the company has been sponsoring Coachella for six years and will certainly have a booth once again at this year’s festival. The collection will hit stores on March 26th, so whether you’re headed to Coachella or just California dreamin’, it’s guaranteed that H&M will be your go-to store this spring.
