Best Dressed: 2015 Golden Globes Awards

Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Carolina Herrera

Jenna dons this simple Carolina Herrera gown, looking effortlessly chic. Her hair is what gives the look this effortless vibe. As seen above, a tight chignon would have transformed this look drastically, making it a lot more strict and formal looking. This natural and minimalistic look is a stunner.

Heidi Klum

This look is the epitome of Hollywood glamour. The dress’s subtle slit is timelessly sexy. Heidi’s finger waves and red lipstick bring forth a classic Hollywood feel. The dress fits her like a glove, emphasizing the importance of a great tailor.

Allison Williams in Armani Prive

Allison William’s outfit is my favorite look from the red carpet this year. I always love red dresses on the red carpet. Red is a bold color choice, but still very classic. I enjoy seeing how each star wears their unique version of a red dress. This Armani Prive gown is eye-catching and fashion forward. The crisp lines of each intricate tier are daring. Allison’s eye makeup did her justice, making her piercing blue eyes just as striking as her dress. Her minimal choice of jewelry allowed the dress to speak for itself. Bravo!

Helen Mirren in Dolce & Gabbana

Helen Mirren defines class and beauty. Like Heidi Klum and Allison Williams, she sports a wonderful red dress. Helen always finds the perfect balance between being fashion forward and dressing appropriate for her age. At age 69, she shows off her amazing figure in this sophisticated little number (Seriously Helen, you are looking good!).

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad

This dress is a piece of art. Every bead and thread in this gown is flawless. While most wear strapless dresses, a long-sleeved gown is different, making Chrissy stand out from the crowd. She also maintains the perfect balance of skin. Since the dress appears quite sheer, Chrissy’s dress has long sleeves and higher neckline keep the look classy.

Greer Grammer in Lorena Sarbu

Greer Grammer from the popular MTV show “Awkward” wore a gown designed by Lorena Sarbu. She has the perfect complexion to wear this difficult shade of blush. Blush is rarely a complementary tone to a majority of complexions. However, Greer brings forth a warm tone, utilizing gold as the accent color. Every detail of this look (the earrings, rings, clutch, loose Taylor Swift-like bun and elaborate beading) is performed to perfection.
