Kendall Jenner is the newest face of Estée Lauder at the age 19. In November, she shared the news with her 16 million Instagram followers, posting a picture and a link to the website (esteelauder.com/kendall). This time Estée Lauder used a different method of revealing their new face – they used social media, namely Instagram. Surprisingly enough, Estée Lauder’s Instagram page has had a huge increase in followers since the news has been announced, with more than 50,000 people subscribing to the feed.
She is the youngest spokesperson to be recruited and in one of the interviews she said how blessed she felt to be given the opportunity. She became an in-demand model quickly after being the hottest new face of the Spring/Summer 2015 runway shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. Kendall is now carving her way into beauty and cosmetics campaigns, showing that she is more than just a reality star and more than her family’s name.
However, there are others who think that miss Jenner is too young for such an iconic brand, that targets adult women more than teenagers. What do you think about the new addition to the Estée Lauder family? Is Kendall a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry?
