Thanksgiving is a time of year when American tradition calls for family coming together. During the break, most people see relatives they haven’t seen in months, or maybe even years. This is the time to show off your best self, which means dressing up a little bit. However, make sure to stay comfortable enough to save room for the turkey!

Here are our three suggestions for what to wear this Thanksgiving:

This outfit is both conservative and trendy. A classic black pullover sweater is a piece that never goes out of style. The patchwork skirt with an asymmetrical hemline is what adds a bit of flare and interest to the outfit. The black border of the skirt ties in the black sweater, boots and tights as well. Lastly, the Marc Jacobs handbag ties in the mauve tones from the skirt.

Still want to be comfy, but cute? Tucking this ruffled floral camisole into a black cotton circle skirt is a step up from jeans. These brown buckled boots keep the look casual, but the look could easily be taken a step up with black flats and a black blazer. The teal tassel necklace brings out the teal from the floral pattern in the camisole.

This silky camisole adds a classy vibe to black skinny jeans. This look is simple and easy to throw together. The pearls add a bit of elegance to the otherwise casual black jeans. The black flats keep the ensemble simple, tasteful and polished.
