Earmuffs are a winter staple. It’s easy to forget to grab something that will keep your ears warm after you’ve already picked up your scarf and gloves on the way out the door. Earmuffs are small enough to keep in your bag when you’re not using them and are also a great way to keep warm without spending too much money.

A knit headwrap is a trendier alternative to earmuffs. Headwraps are also meant to keep your ears warm, but they go all the way around the back of your head. Similarly to earmuffs, it’s very easy to find a nice knit headwrap that doesn’t leave your wallet empty.

A beanie is perfect for disguising a bad hair day or anytime you want to switch up your look. They can pull together any outfit and keep you warm when you’re outside, but can still be worn once you’re inside. Beanies come in a very large variety of colors and styles, so there’s no need to spend a fortune on just one.
