By Amanda Slomovitz

You’re sitting at your computer when you come across the title of this article and do a double take. “Christmas? Already?” you think to yourself. You pretend to be upset. How can Neiman Marcus be ready for Christmas when you haven’t even chosen a Halloween costume yet? But you’re secretly excited. The best time of the year is just around the corner and the shopping came early. What’s there to be upset about?

The Christmas Book 2014 is everything you could ever want and more. You only have to take one glance at the gorgeous bronze Kay Unger New York dress on page 10 before you grab your credit card and then promptly put it away when you look at the price.

You keep flipping through the pages until you come across the gifts priced under $100 (because college is all about budgeting, right?). After falling in love with a pair of Kendra Scott earrings, you bookmark the page and keep looking. Puppies are all over page 35 and you find yourself wanting those boots you saw a few pages back.. and a dog, too.

“Stay focused,” you think as you flip past the puppies to find a stunning lace and tulle Monique Lhuillier gown. Every page has something that’s calling your name. You start thinking of gifts for family members — and gifts for yourself, of course. Jackets, sneakers, jewelry, food, sunglasses, toys, cologne, perfume, the list goes on and on.  Everything you could ever want is in this book.

Suddenly you’re looking at the back cover and you say to yourself, “December can’t come soon enough.”
