CollegeFashionista, an online fashion site whose goal is to connect fashionistas around the world and share various college trends, is searching for Northeastern University students that would like to participate in its spring 2015 internship program. The internship requires “ambitious, goal-oriented interns” to help the website achieve its mission of reaching out to as many fashionistas — and fashionistos — as possible.
Interns are required to write four articles a month for the website, in which they find impressive street styles around campus, take photos and write about the styles. Interns also have the chance to participate in monthly Twitter chats and webinars with professionals in the fashion industry, which helps boost communication skills while working in the fashion sector. There may also be opportunities for interns to organize fashion events or campaigns during the internship.
In order to be an intern, applicants must own or have use of a camera for taking photos for articles. The internship spans from January-May 2015 and is unpaid. However, CollegeFashionista is willing to provide school credit if applicable.
To apply, simply go to www.collegefashionista.com/apply. If you have any questions regarding the internship, please feel free to contact the Fashion & Retail Society at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can contact CollegeFashionista regarding questions.
