It may feel like the semester is just beginning, but February is right around the corner and with it comes a couple of exciting fashion events. You’re surely going to get tired of studying all the time, so take a break and check out one of these amazing events:
Monday, Feb. 10 — Fashion Branding, PR & Photography Workshop
Come to this great workshop hosted by Crissy Ford-Leatham and learn various techniques to build the necessary contacts to work in the fashion industry! The workshop will be running from 7-9 p.m. and is hosted at Oficio on 30 Newbury St. Tickets are on sale from now until Feb. 3 on eventbrite.com and cost $15 for all bloggers who provide a link to their blog and $45 for general admission. Friday, Feb. 14 — TJX Panel Opportunity
Visit the TJX Company’s corporate headquarters for a panel on the fashion retail industry and opportunities at TJX. The schedule of events begins at 9:30 a.m. and departure will be at 12 p.m. Transportation will be provided with a bus leaving Northeastern at 9 a.m. If you are interested, you must reserve your spot using this form. Thursday, Feb. 20 — Venni Caprice Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Show
At 9 p.m. at the Liberty Hotel, you will be able to get a sneak peek of the season’s new looks at the Venni Caprice Fashion Show! Confirm your attendance now and you will be given preferential seating.
Saturday, Feb. 22 — Retail & Luxury Goods Conference
The Harvard Business School Retail & Luxury Goods Club is holding its annual conference from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Met Back Bay on 279 Dartmouth St. Drop by to see fascinating panelists and a line-up of keynotes discuss the details of the fashion industry!
