Last Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 2 and 3, Christina K. Pierce and the Emerald Lounge teamed up to present fashion shows displaying the S/S 2014 collections of four Boston designers. The first collection presented was g.KIM by Grace Kim. With light fabrics and easy shapes, the clothes were perfect for spring. Standout looks included a soft yellow romper and a pale, high-low hem dress.

Thursday night began with a small sample sale for Launch by Susan Young’s F/W 2013 collection. The first fashion show of the night featured brand Sefani. Sefani’s collection was made up of mostly warm and neutral colors accented by an occasional bright blue. The clothes transition well between a casual day to a chic night out.

The final show in the Emerald Lounge was the S/S 2014 Launch by Susan Young collection. The collection opened with pinks and reds before transitioning to whites and neutrals. The silky material perfectly complemented the collection’s flowy silhouettes.

The looks in each show were accessorized with handbags from The Mister Collection by d’andrea. Attendees were invited to view the collection of handbags and chat with designer Nicole D’Andrea pre-show and during the intermission.
