Name: Jamie Ducharme
My style in 3 words: Eclectic. Polished. Classic.
Background: As my ever-dwindling bank account shows, I shop way too much for my own good—but since I aspire to work in fashion journalism it’s all research, right? As a result of my prep school background mixed with a newly urban taste, my style can be a little bipolar. Though my aesthetic can vary drastically from day to day, I’m always drawn to dresses, cardigans, stripes, elbow patches and anything and everything with leather accents.
Day 1: There’s nothing I love more than a dress that has both stripes and leather, so when I saw this one it was love at first sight. Since it’s basically a t-shirt dress, it’s comfortable enough to wear for a long day of classes and club meetings. Plus, the heavier fabric makes it perfect for a chilly fall day.

Day 2: I am a huge fan of this skirt because a) it’s leather (at least I’m consistent) and b) it’s surprisingly versatile. The flouncy shape and olive green color tone down the sexiness of leather a little bit, which makes it very wearable. With a tank top and wedges, it’s great for going out, but it can also be made appropriate for day by dressing it down with a chunky cardigan and graphic t-shirt. When the temperatures dropped at night, I swapped the skirt for gray skinny jeans and wore this look to a concert.

Day 3: As much as I love dresses, some days you just need the comfort of jeans. I’m a firm believer that a jeans-and-t-shirt outfit doesn’t have to be boring, so I try to invest in fashionable but easy-to-wear separates. A pair of gray skinny jeans and an ombré t-shirt takes zero thought in the morning, but looks like I put in effort. That’s a successful outfit in my book!
