MFW E-Board Pick: Emilio Pucci

Peter Dundas designed a fun, retro inspired collection for Emilio Pucci’s fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection. As someone who is a big fan of fashion from the 1960s and 1970s, this collection hit the spot. I especially loved the straight across bangs that all of the models got to wear. A majority of the models sported some extreme over-the-knee boots, some of which barely hit the short hemlines of the skirts and dresses.

In a way, this balanced out the teeny tiny hemlines of the garments. Even though I would have loved to see some wide leg pants in the collection, the cute fringe dresses and big fur jackets kept my eyes pleasantly occupied. Overall, this collection looked like a lot of fun to style and reminded me of something Kate Hudson’s character might have worn in Almost Famous.
