Kate Spade and Lucky Magazine hosted a glamorous holiday event Thursday at Kate Spade on Newbury Street. The event, titled “Gifts All Aglow,” included “sips, snacks, and a special holiday gift shopping fête.” Style blogger and interior and fashion stylist Erin Gates of Elements of Style and designer Jessica Sutton of JSGD made appearances at the event, along with various Kate Spade employees and invited guests.
The petite store was packed with eager shoppers, browsing the collections, sipping champagne, and enjoying hors d’oeuvres, including brightly colored macaroons and mini cupcakes. The added DJ provided an elite feel to this exclusive event, as a photographer took photos for “official Kate Spade use.”
The store was full of color and loud chatter, while invitees took advantage of the 20% off discount and entered the raffle for Kate Spade gift cards. The employees at the shop could not have been more helpful, taking care of each individual as if it were a personalized shopping experience. The Newbury store offered various colorful handbags, wallets, jewelry, clothing, phone cases, and shoes galore.
Although the majority of items are priced higher than most students’ budget’s allow, luckily for Northeastern girls and guys, the Newbury store offers a regular 15% discount with the showing of a student ID. You can also take advantage of sale items and various special discounts!
