It seems like designer collaborations are happening all over the place these days. With past successes like Missoni for Target and Marni for H&M and the ever-increasing importance of the average consumer, several luxury brands are jumping on the collab train. 2012 was a good year for collaborations so far, but the year is not quite done yet, allowing for a few more collaborations to come.
Maison Martin Margiela for H&M: Several high-end designers have made collections for H&M, and now Maison Martin Margiela is joining the party. The Paris design house is teaming up with H&M for a super edgy and avant-garde collection inspired by past designs with affordable prices for the H&M customer. Some standout pieces are the Duvet Coat and the oversized fanny pack. The collection hits stores November 15th (today!). Check out the collection here and how to shop it here!
Narciso Rodriguez for Kohl’s: The Cuban-American designer is the first to participate in Kohl’s DesigNation series, which is a concept designed to bring in high-end designers for collaborations. The Istanbul-inspired collection is sophisticated and fashion-forward, providing a little bit of elevation in style for the Kohl’s customer. The collection is in stores during November. Shop the collection here.
Jen Brill and Olivia Kim for Cole Haan: Cole Haan approached the fashion stars for a small shoe collection earlier in the year, and now they’re back with a full holiday collection. The collection is filled with candy colors, suede, and metallic leather and is available during November. Check out the collection here.
Neiman Marcus + Target + CFDA: Neiman Marcus and Target are teaming up with the Council of Fashion Designers of America for a holiday collection this year. They’re bringing together 24 top designers to present 50 gifts for customers. This collaboration will definitely be epic due to Target’s customer base and Neiman Marcus’s relationships with high-end designers, like Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Rodarte and Marc Jacobs (all of which are participating in the collaboration). The collection hits stores December 1st. Check out the collaboration here and watch the video about their partnership with the CFDA here!
