I’ve been a fan of Nanette Lepore since the day I got a sample bottle of her perfume. I loved the scent and was drawn to the bottle design right away. Her whimsical designs mixed with bold patterns are always a hit in my book.
Lepore’s most recent show demonstrates her extreme talent with combining bright colors and patterns. Gingham and neon toile covered the runway in dress, pant, and jacket form. Cutouts were another key theme that kept creeping up within the pieces. The models looked fresh in their bright colored eye shadow with hair pulled back loosely. They wore chunky platform sandals bringing my mind to the mod era. Thick woven belts were scattered throughout the show to add pop.
This collection was spot on with a complete range of options for wearable and accessible fashion.
