With categories ranging from Best Kiss to Movie of the Year, the MTV Movie Awards is an awards show where celebrities take fashion risks with new and original styles, stepping away from the glamorous, floor-length gowns for a much more flirtatious look. While some chose to keep it classy, others took an edgier route. Either way, here are a few celebrities that really brought their game to the red carpet on June 3rd at the Gibson Amphitheatre.

Kristen Stewart in Guishem

Kristen Stewart showed up in a unique metallic Guishem dress and a Repossi ring. She kept the outfit from going over the top with a pair of black Christian Louboutin heels, which she later swapped for her favorite Converse sneakers.

Emma Stone in Martin Grant

Emma Stone proved that she was a classy lady in a Martin Grant outfit paired with nude Brian Atwood pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

Emma Watson in Brood

Starring in the upcoming The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Emma Watson wore a racerback Brood dress and Tabitha Simmons sandals.

Christina Ricci in Christian Siriano

Christina Ricci wore a custom Christian Siriano dress detailed with watches that went along with her Timex watch. She completed her outfit with Casadei pumps and Neil Lane earrings.

Elizabeth Banks in Elie Saab

Elizabeth Banks, winner of Best On-Screen Transformation for her performance as Effie in The Hunger Games, chose a jumpsuit with sexy lace by Elie Saab.

Lucy Hale in Catherine Malandrino

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale showed off her skills with colorblocking, the latest trend, in a Catherine Malandrino silk dress.
