When I look to the collections from Paris fashion week, Carven is usually not on the top of my list. I tend to gravitate to the larger, more elaborate fashion shows but this time around, I was drawn to Carven’s juxtaposition. Although the prints and inspirations were somewhat more mature (Hieronymus Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights), the shorter skirts and laser-cutting kept it young and fresh. Even with the shapes, designer Guillaume Henry sent out more boxy ensembles but also a lot of outfits highlighting the wearer’s waist. Check out photos from the collection in the slideshow below!
