Last year I had the pleasure of attending the Harris Center Public Forum at Harvard Business School. With Diane von Furstenberg as the keynote speaker, I knew I was in for a treat. Furstenberg discussed how she got to where she is, the morals and missions of her business, and of course the fashion industry’s relationship with health issues. Overall, the event was inspiring and I definitely walked away from the talk with a newfound appreciation for Furstenberg and the CFDA.
This year, the Harris Center Public Forum will be featuring three amazing speakers: Arianna Huffington, Franca Sozzani, and Amber Valletta. For those who don’t know, Huffington is the CEO and President of The Huffington Post Media Group, Sozzani is the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Italia, and Valletta is an actress on the hit TV show Revenge. The forum will take place at 6pm on April 2nd at Harvard University. It is free and open to the public. Click here to register for tickets!
