I have never really taken note of Daniella Issa Helayei’s work before, but when I was browsing through the shows, her extreme use of pattern caught my eye. The entire collection gave me a 70’s vibe where the first half all seemed to coordinate smoothly. Then it was as if Issa started showing a different collection entirely when I reached the black cloak jacket. Hardly any more patterns were visible; had we transitioned to the 20’s? I really enjoyed the pieces individually, but some editing would have done the show some good.
