Ed. Note: Continued from Glamorize Your Laziest Days – Part 1
This piece is the perfect length to wear with leggings. The extra-long sleeves are great for winter, and the slightly oversized fit is cohesive with even your laziest of days. This style is offered in several colors, but I love the contrast of this camel hue piped with chocolate brown. This is a great transition piece to carry you into the spring. And for this price, it’s a no-brainer.
Target Merona Jersey Roll Cardigan Sweater, $8.74
This sweater offers the same cozy comfort as your go-to hoodie, but with added style. The lace appliqué has a subtly feminine vibe without being overly frilly. The shoulder seams are sewn low to give a slouchy effect that nicely compliments the girly detail, and the combination of neutrals is the right amount of understated.
Forever 21 Lace Appliqué Sweater Top, $27.80
Don’t forget to accessorize! This is literally the cheapest, easiest way ever to look more put-together than you feel. Earrings can quickly change the vibe of any outfit, and Forever 21 will always, always have fun ones for under $5. Drop earrings add instant style, but a quirky spin on the classic stud is a surefire fallback.
Adding a statement necklace can completely change up the vibe of an otherwise simple outfit. Forget dainty pieces: think chunky, bold, bright, interesting. Lengthy necklaces elongate your shape and look great when layered over a basic top. Bib or collar necklaces quickly add a ton of style, especially when worn with a crewneck. Most of the time, it’ll look like your basic tee was designed with the embellishment. Just be sure to go easy on the rest of your jewelry when choosing big accessories like these.

Old Navy Women’s Antiqued Metal Leaf Necklaces, $15.94
Throwing a scarf on top of your outfit is a simple way to add interest, and better yet, keep warm. If you’re anything like me and winter has you feeling a little down, choosing a scarf will help you feel more covered (plus it draws the eye upward.) It’s like the security blanket of your winter wardrobe. There are SO many options between variations in style, knit, fabric, cut, length… there’s sure to be a scarf out there that will fill your fashion desires. Old Navy alone has dozens of options, but I’m seriously loving these gauzy choices. Layer with a solid long sleeve from your closet for a winning winter combo.
